Crossroad Church, established in 1939, is a member of the Orange County Southern Baptist Association. We have a history of spreading and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout our community. Our mission statement is “to magnify God, mature believers and make Jesus known.”

Our small congregation is looking for a full-time pastor. We seek a pastor who meets the qualifications found in 1st Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Our pastor will have the charge from the church to lead in all things spiritual, preach the Gospel, evangelize the lost, make disciples and administer the ordinances. Key areas of responsibilities are as follows:


  • The senior pastor will lead and develop the pastoral team in equipping the congregation to fulfill the Great Commission and accomplish the purpose & mission statements of Crossroad Church.

  • The senior pastor will lead and equip the body of deacons and other elected leaders, so they effectively lead the ministry teams of the church.


  • The senior pastor will provide direction and oversight to the administrative ministries of the church and will give leadership to the administrative ministry teams of the congregation. The senior pastor will administer the pastoral team of Crossroad Church.

  • The senior pastor is also responsible to hire, or appoint, and oversee the employed and volunteer staff in collaboration with the Personnel and Finance Teams. He shall delegate authority as needed to accomplish the mission of the church.

  • The senior pastor shall serve as ex-officio member of all committees, and counselor of all departments of the church.


  • The senior pastor will use his spiritual gifts to edify and build Crossroad Church to the glory of God. The senior pastor will provide appropriate pastoral care to members of the church and the community and will equip the members of the pastoral team, deacon body and elected leaders do the same.


  • The senior pastor will preach and teach the Bible, believing that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter. The senior pastor will communicate the vision for ministry that God gives to this congregation.


The senior pastor is expected to be a servant leader. The senior pastor is expected to live an exemplary life modeling the call, character, and competencies in becoming a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The senior pastor will demonstrate a servant spirit as a growing disciple of Jesus Christ.
